Kermit Poling is featured as violin soloist in Vaughan Williams “The Lark Ascending” in a performance by the Shreveport Symphony.

June 4 - Premier Quartet - A spotlight concert featuring classical music inspired by popular music forms such as jazz and rock.

June 11 - The 13th annual People's Concert, performed by the Shreveport Symphony and a massed Gospel Choir. Featured soloists include Daddy Ro', Monica Blake Mickle, and the 2004 Gospel Dream winner, Stephanie Dotson.

June 18 - Clarinetist Thomas Philips is featured in the Finzi clarinet concerto along with the Shreveport Symphony chamber orchestra. Other music includes the Pulcinella Suite of Igor Stravinsky.

June 25 - Broadway Meets the Movies! - featuring the stars of Broadway Nightstm
along with the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra.

July 2 - Picnic Pops with the Shreveport Symphony, including a special salute to the U.S. armed forces, plus the 1812 Overture of Tchaikovsky.

July 23 - The winner from December's Nina Plant Wideman piano competition, Kostyantyn Travinskyy is featured in performance with the Shreveport Symphony. Conductor William Henry Curry also leads the orchestra in Tckaikovsky's Symphony #4.

July 30 - The Shreveport Symphony presents Benjamin Kamins as the featured soloist in a performance of Dead Elvis - a work for bassoon and orchestra. This program also includes music of Falla and Beethoven.
