Our season finale concert on Saturday, May 3 begins with one of Ravel’s most personal creations, Le tombeau de Couperin, a set of memorials for the French composer’s friends who had died in uniform. Then chart-topping recording artist SIMONE DINNERSTEIN presents a fresh, new concerto written especially for her by Philip Lasser, an American composer with strong French ties. And we close with Dvořák’s masterful “New World” Symphony.
